Daniel Robb has been named as digital marketing director for TUI Travel’s mainstream sector. Robb will join the group on 1 July from Google where for the past nine years he has led the development and growth of the search engine’s travel team. Robb will be responsible for driving digital marketing for the mainstream business.
Subhas Menon has been appointed regional vice president Europe at Singapore Airlines. Menon will be based in the airline’s London office and takes over the role from Paul Tan who is relocating to Singapore as divisional vice president customer services. Menon first joined SIA in 1984 and he was most recently regional vice president south west Pacific based in Sydney.
Peter van Peborgh-Gooch has been named as the new director of sales and marketing at DUKES St James London. Van Pebrogh-Gooch joins the luxury London hotel from JAL Hotels and with more than 27 years of experience in the hospitality sector. Previous employers include Hilton, IHG, Rocco Forte, Le Meridien, Ritz Carlton and the Savoy Group.
Julie Nunes has joined Silversea as sales executive for the north of England and Wales. Nunes was previously business development manager for Hay Travel’s Faraway Tour Operating Division. Luke Clarke has also been named as sales executive, covering the south of England and Wales. Clarke has been a reservations consultant with the cruise line for 12 months and is an ex-assistant manager for TUI UK.
Ed Stalley has been named head of account management at FCm Travel Solutions. Stalley joined Flight Centre Group in 2010 and has been instrumental in driving its 95% client retention rate. Before joining the group he spent three years at TAG Company and four years at Woolworths PLC.
