STUART LLOYD has been appointed Acting Publisher of Travel Daily Media. Lloyd, who is a former Senior Director of PATA, has also owned his own marketing & communications agency with clients including Mandarin Oriental, Tourism New Zealand, South African Airways, Hilton and Sheraton.

LAURA RUFFLES has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Travel Management (CTM) in Australia & New Zealand. A UK national, Ms Ruffles’ career spans almost 20 years and includes spells with American Express. Most recently she served as CTM’s Chief Operating Officer.

CHRISTOPHE RENARD has been named as the new Vice President of CWT Solutions Group, the global consulting arm of Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Renard joined CWT in 1998 and has held several positions, most recently Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Business Intelligence.

DOMINIC SHERRY has become Hilton Worldwide’s new Head of Sales for Asia Pacific. A New Zealander by birth, Sherry joins Hilton Worldwide from Marriott International, where he spend 21 years in a variety of roles, most recently as Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Asia.

CALUM LAMING has been named as Air New Zealand’s new General Manager for Customer Experience. Laming takes up the newly-created role following a stint in Abu Dhabi, where he was most recently Head of Guest Experience for Etihad Airways. He has also worked with Virgin Atlantic.

MIKE MA has been announced as China Southern Airlines’ new General Manager for New Zealand. Ma is a graduate of the Civil Aviation University of China in Tianjin, and managed China Southern’s regional offices in Ningbo and Taiyuan before being moving to Auckland to take up the new role.

THIERRY DOUIN has been appointed as Dusit International’s new Regional Vice President for the Middle East & Africa. A French national, Douin joins the Thailand-based hotel company following spells with IHG and Shangri-La Hotels in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Dubai and Jakarta.

YANN BARBAUX has been named as the new Chief Innovation Officer for Airbus, effective 1 May 2013. A graduate of the Paris Engineering School, Barbaux has been with Airbus’ parent company, EADS, since 2002, most recently leading the aerospace company’s Innovation Works unit.

MICHAEL MULLER has been named as the new General Manager of the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel, as General Manager. A graduate of the UK’s Oxford Brookes University, Muller first joined Marriott’s guest services division and became GM of the Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong in 2009.

GARY MORAN has been announced as the new General Manager of the Parkroyal on Kitchener Road, Singapore. A British national, Moran has close to 20 years of hotel management experience in Europe and Asia, including spells with Movenpick Hotels in India and Kuwait.
