SHANNON HYLAND has been announced as the new Chief Executive Officer of RADIUS. The move marks a promotion for Hyland, who previously served as the group’s Chief Financial Officer. He brings more than 20 years’ experience to the role including a spell with United Airlines
ANDREW REILLY has been named as Tourism Australia’s new Regional General Manager for Japan & Korea, based in Tokyo. A former Telstra executive, Reilly has plenty of experience in Asia, including a spell as the Australian Tourism Commission’s Marketing Director for Japan & Korea.
MICHAEL HANRATTY has been announced as the new General Manager of the G Hotel Penang. An Australian national, Hanratty has more than 20 years’ hotel experience including spells in Hong Kong, Thailand, Brunei and Indonesia. He has worked with companies including Fairmont and IHG.
DONNA STEWART has been appointed General Manager of the Heritage Queenstown Hotel. She joins the property from the nearby Peppers Beacon Queenstown, where she has worked as GM for the past seven years. Ms Stewart has also has experience in the UK and Australia in her career.
BRAYNA TOLLEDO has been named as the new Group Communications & Loyalty Programme Manager for Swiss-Belhotel International, based in Jakarta. Ms Tolledo has experience in the public relations and sales & marketing fields, most recently with a hotel chain in the Philippines.
ELFA CLEOFE has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore – the first Ritz-Carlton property in India, which is due to open this summer. Ms Cleofe has 20 years’ experience, most recently with Starwood, with whom she helped launch The St Regis Lhasa in Tibet.
JUSTIN McCONNELL has becomes the new Executive Assistant Manager at the Emporium Hotel in Brisbane. Prior to this role, McConnell served as Director of Rooms at the Sofitel Brisbane. But the main part of his career was spent with Hyatt, at properties in Sydney, Bali and Auckland.
JACK YOSS has joined the Indigo Pearl resort in Phuket as its new Executive Sous Chef. An American national, Chef Jack brings 18 years of experience to the role, in Asia, Europe and the US. This includes spells at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and the W Retreat and Spa in Bali.
