FRANK TRAMPERT has been named as Wyndham Hotel Group’s new Managing Director for Asia Pacific. Trampert has more than 25 years’ industry experience, most recently serving as President of Circos Brand Karma in Singapore.
DAVID SHACKLETON has been announced as the new Chief Operating Officer for Dusit International. Shackleton takes up the newly-created position following three decades of senior level experience with hotel groups such as Starwood and IHG.
LARRY LIGHT has been announced as the new Chief Brands Officer for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). Light, who wrote the book ‘Six Rules for Brand Revitalisation’, is a former Global Chief Marketing Officer for McDonald’s.
YUNHANG XIE has been announced as the new Chief Operating Officer of the China Lodging Group. He joins the budget hotel chain with more than 16 years of experience in the IT industry, most recently with Digital China Networks Co Ltd.
ROBERT KUNKLER has been named as the new Senior Vice President Hotel Operations for Minor Hotel Group, which operates the Anantara brand. A German national, Kunkler joins Minor from Jumeirah where was Regional VP for Operations.
KEVIN SUN has been appointed as Vice President of Development for Kosmopolito Hotels International. Sun brings more than 17 years’ experience to the Hong Kong-based company, most recently as Managing Director of Prolink Hotel Development.
GREG WILLIAMS has been appointed as General Manager of the Song Saa Private Island resort in Cambodia. Williams arrives at the luxury resort from the Alila Sothea in Siem Reap, where he also served as GM. He has also worked in Australia and Fiji.
CHRISTIAN DE BOER has been named as the new Director of Sales & Marketing for the Song Saa Private Island. De Boer joins from the Hotel de la Paix in Siem Reap, where he also served as Director of Sales & Marketing. He previously worked at The Nam Hai, Vietnam.
ARTHUR AI has been appointed as Resident Manager of the Pullman Shanghai Skyway. Ai has more than 20 years’ experience including spells with Hilton and Jin Jiang. Prior to this new position, he owned and ran a Japanese restaurant in Melbourne.
HARRIS KURDTHIP has been named as the new Director of Marketing Communications for the ONYX Hospitality Group. The move marks a promotion for Kurdthip, who previously spent two years as ONYX’s Director of Public Relations.
TAN LAY TENG has become the new Sales Manager of Corporate and Incentive for the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB). Ms Tan has 12 years’ experience developing international business in meetings, incentives, conventions and events.
AZAD REHMAN has been appointed by China Southern Airlines to run its new Customer Contact Centre and social media programme from Sydney. Rehman joins China Southern following nine years with Air New Zealand in Auckland.
