The Nam Hai, the famous luxury resort in Central Vietnam, has reopened under the management of Four Seasons.

The newly-rebranded Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An, started welcoming guests this week, marking the luxury hotel group’s entry into Vietnam. The Nam Hai was previously managed by GHM and is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World (LHW).

“As we continue to extend our presence across Asia Pacific we are focused on ensuring that each new addition to our portfolio represents the very best of Four Seasons, offering the highest levels of service excellence and product quality. Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai… will be no exception,” J. Allen Smith, Four Seasons’ president & CEO, commented when the management agreement was first announced.

The resort has been revamped in recent weeks and now features a series of new facilities and amenities. These include a new beach bar, kids’ club and Vietnamese cooking school, plus an expanded water sports programme.

In terms of accommodation, eight new family villas have been introduced. These each cover 104m² of floor space and feature a main bedroom and a children’s room with a sofa bed, desk, TV, games console and board games. At the back of the family villa, the main family bathroom opens onto a private garden with an outdoor rain shower.

The Nam Hai joins a growing collection of Four Seasons resort properties in Asia Pacific, along with two in Bali, two in the Maldives, three in Thailand, and others in Bora Bora and Langkawi. The company also operates city hotels across the region, and recently announced plans to open a major new property in Kuala Lumpur.
