Travel Daily’s travel industry networking event, Thirsty Thursday, is expanding across Asia, with three editions taking place this month and a new long-term agreement for Thirsty Thursday Singapore.
In April 2015, Thirsty Thursday will he held in three key regional cities: Hanoi, Bangkok and Singapore. Thirsty Thursday Hanoi will take place on 23 April at the Nineteen 11 Restaurant & Bar at the Hanoi Opera House Garden, while Thirsty Thursday Bangkok will return on 30 April at the Ocean Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 33.
But kicking this trio of networking events off will be Thirsty Thursday Singapore, which is being organised in partnership with Asian travel technology provider ZUMATA and will take place on 16 April at The Exchange at Marina View.
This will mark the start of series of events for Thirsty Thursday Singapore; as part of a tie-up with Tadcaster Hospitality, Thirsty Thursdays will be held at a range of Tadcaster venues in Singapore for the next six months.
“Since it launched in Asia in 2008, Thirsty Thursday has built up a major following across the region,” said Mark Elliott, editor-in-chief of Travel Daily Media. “The fact that we’re hosting events in three major Asian cities this month alone is testament to the popularity of the event.
“We’re especially happy to be able to tell the Singapore travel trade that Thirsty Thursday will take place for at least the next six months, at a series of exciting Tadcaster venues across the city.
“Singaporeans have always embraced the Thirsty Thursday concept, and along with our partner ZUMATA, we look forward to welcoming our travel trade partners in Singapore for a series of terrific networking events in 2015,” Elliott added.
All Thirsty Thursday events offer free entry to qualifying members of the travel trade, plus free drinks and snacks and the chance to win prizes in our lucky draws.
