Thomas Cook Group’s airlines have signed up to Amadeus’ Altea products to streamline its IT systems.
Under the agreement all four airlines under the group will use the platform as a single platform for reservations, inventory and departure control allowing more information in real-time.
The pair have also renewed a distribution deal for its tour operator business and will aim to push out more personalised offers.
“The solution developed by Amadeus enables us to harmonise our multi-channel distribution strategy. Through a single inventory and distribution system, we are now in a position to reach out to tour operators and retail partners while servicing our own direct sales channels,” said Christoph Debus, chief air travel officer at Thomas Cook Group. “In addition, connecting to Amadeus’ travel agency distribution network will help us to significantly to grow both volume and yield. Amadeus’ Altéa suite will also enable us to provide the most relevant and personalised offers to all our customers.”
