Thomson Celebration will homeport in Dubrovnik

Thomson Cruises has announced its Thomson Celebration ship will dock in Dubrovnik, Croatia in summer next year.

The ship will homeport in the port from May 2015 with four new itineraries and 10 new ports including Split, Hvar, Trieste, Bari, Corinth and Itea.

More regional UK departures will be available to Dubrovnik as a result with services from Glasgow, Newcastle and Bristol on top of its current offering from Birmingham, Manchester and London Gatwick.

The cruise line also announced Thomson Spirit and Thomson Majesty have undergone a makeover to be included in the Platinum collection. Both ships have also added private sea view balcony cabins.

Thomson Spirit will be taken away from its UK homeport to be based in Marmaris, Turkey next summer with cruises around the Aegean region.

“Summer 2015 will be a record year for Thomson Cruises as we introduce a total of 28 new ports of calls, 13 new itineraries and an exciting new home port of Dubrovnik for Thomson Celebration,” said Helen Caron, managing director for Thomson Cruises. “Listening to our customers is at the heart of all our planning, which is why we’re offering more choice and variety of destinations in our some of our favoured locations, and providing our guests the flexibility on their holiday to Cruise & Stay, with even more hotels introduced to our collection.”
