Tiger launches Colombo flights
Tiger Airways launched its first flights to Sri Lanka last week.
The new service between Singapore and the Sri Lankan capital Colombo also marks the first low-cost link between the two cities.
“We are focused on building our network and connectivity in the region. Tiger Airways’ direct service between Colombo and Singapore will provide more options at great value fares for leisure and business travellers,” said Dave Perring, Tiger Airways’ Commercial Director. “Singapore is now a hop away for Sri Lankans wanting to explore the sights and sounds of the garden city. Likewise, the rich history and natural beauty of Sri Lanka is within easy reach.”
Flights will operate three times a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) using an Airbus A320 aircraft.
