Tiger to add Phnom Penh flights
Tiger Airways is launching flights to the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.
From 1 October 2012, the Singapore-based low-cost carrier will operate the route daily using an Airbus A320 aircraft. This is Tiger’s first foray into Cambodia, and will closely follow the launch of flights to Hyderabad on 27 September 2012.
“Cambodia has made great strides over the past decade to become both a tremendously popular tourist destination and a business hub in the region. Tiger Airways is glad to be able to contribute to the country’s continued growth by further strengthening its international air links, offering travellers more choices of flights to better serve their needs, be it for business or leisure,” said Tiger Singapore’s Managing Director, Stewart Adams.
Flights will operate on a split schedule, departing Singapore’s Changi airport at 0630 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, at 1330 on Fridays and 0620 on Saturdays.
The return service leaves Phnom Penh at 0830, expect for Fridays when it will depart at 1530 and Saturdays at 0820.
