Tiger to boost Malaysia, China services
Tiger Airways will increase its flights to the Kuching and Penang in Malaysia, and the Chinese city of Haikou during the August holiday period.
The Singapore-based low-cost carrier will operate twice daily flights to Kuching and Penang from 17 to 26 August 2012, up from nine weekly flights at present. Flights to Haikou, on the Chinese island province of Hainan, will increase to from three to five times a week from 1-31 August.
“With the increased frequencies to Kuching and Penang over the Hari Raya Puasa season, our customers will find it easier to make plans to celebrate and spend time with family and friends over the holiday season,” said Stewart Adams, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore.
“Holiday seekers can also head for sunny Haikou for a quick break. The Hainan capital is renowned for its paradise island appeal. Its 6km long coastline boasts of golden beaches and crystal clear waters – the perfect setting for that dream beach vacation,” Adams added.
Tiger serves all three routes with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
