Tiger to launch Hyderabad flights
Tiger Airways will launch a new service to Hyderabad later this year.
From 27 September 2012, the low-cost carrier will offer five weekly flights between Singapore and Hyderabad, using its single-class Airbus A320 aircraft.
Hyderabad, capital of southern state of Andhra Pradesh, will become Tiger’s sixth Indian destination, following Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Tiruchirappalli.
“We are excited at the prospect of growing our paw print in the region. India’s popularity as a tourist destination and business centre is growing by leaps and bounds, and Tiger is well placed to offer customers more choices of flights between India and Singapore,” said Tiger Airways’ Managing Director, Stewart Adams.
Flights will depart Singapore’s Changi airport at 2230 every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving in Hyderabad at 0040 the following day. Return services leave Hyderabad every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 0140, arriving back into Singapore at 0850.
