Trade backs Wallace & Gromit campaign

Travel agents and suppliers across the industry have signed up for VisitEngland’s new campaign with Wallace & Gromit, it has revealed.
TUI, Thomas Cook, Advantage, Midcounties Co-op Travel, Premier Travel and The Travel Network Group have all signed up to the marketing campaign alongside Attraction World, Superbreak, Hoseasons, Bourne Leisure and Shearings.
The first television advertisement featuring the pair’s ‘Great Adventure’ will be screened on 12 May promoting breaks in England to book through travel agents.
“We’ve had a fantastic response from the domestic travel trade, and their enthusiasm for our next Holidays at Home are GREAT campaign is second to none. I’m looking forward to seeing our tour operator and retail partners get behind the Wallace & Gromit TV advertisement and help boost UK tourism this year,” said James Berresford, chief executive at VisitEngland.
