Trafalgar, The Travel Corporation’s guided tour operator, has added three new Asian countries to its collection: India, Sri Lanka and Laos.

There are nine new itineraries in Trafalgar’s Asia 2017 programme, including the three new destinations, all of which feature a CSR aspect under the company’s ‘TrafalgarCares’ programme.

In India, the company will offer a 13-day ‘Leisurely Rajasthan with Mumbai’ itinerary, which includes a chance to help the country’s street children, while in Sri Lanka the 11-day ‘Wonders of Sri Lanka’ trip includes visits to a tea plantation and elephant orphanage. Finally, an 11-day ‘Secrets of Cambodia with Laos’ itinerary will allow guests to visit the Lao Friends Hospital for Children and enjoy a family-hosted dinner in Luang Prabang.

All of Trafalgar’s tours have a maximum group size of 26 guests.

In addition to the new countries, Trafalgar has expanded its selection of ‘Mini Stays’ to provide agents with option of up-selling Asian city breaks. Functioning as standalone four-day mini-breaks, these trips to Bangkok, Tokyo and Hong Kong & Macau can be added to a guided holiday.

Also new for 2017 is the 10-day ‘Leisurely Japan’ journey from Osaka to Hiroshima, an extended 14-day ‘Treasures of Thailand’ tour which includes the Golden Triangle, and the 17-day ‘Classic China’ tour with a Yangtze cruise.
