Travel 2, one of the UK’s largest long-haul tour operators, has announced a new brochure with incentives for travel agents, as a response to the increased sales in the Middle East and the Indian Ocean. Seeing the strong demand, the company has launched a new Dubai, Arabia, Indian Ocean and Beyond brochure, featuring a wider range of properties.

“12 new properties in the 2018/19 Dubai, Arabia, Indian Ocean and Beyond brochure”

“Agents have led the charge to encourage holidaymakers to choose the Middle East and the Indian Ocean for their holidays. We’re pleased to be increasing the breadth of choice on offer to agents with 12 new properties in the 2018/19 Dubai, Arabia, Indian Ocean and Beyond brochure, as we look forward to another successful year for the region,” said Nick Hughes, sales director B2B Europe for Gold Medal and Travel 2.

New properties

In the Indian Ocean, overall sales grew by 20.8%, while sales in the Middle East were driven by Oman and Ras Al Khaimah experiencing an impressive growth of 86% and 152% respectively.

The new brochure features 12 new properties in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Seychelles and Goa. New properties include the newly opened Fushifaru Maldives resort featuring 49 beach and water villas in the Indian Ocean paradise, and the Banyan Tree, Seychelles, located on the beach overlooking Intendance Bay on Mahe Island.

Incentives for agents

In celebration of the new brochure’s launch, Travel 2 is offering agents a chance to win one of three bottles of luxury Jo Malone perfume. Two luxury agents can win a bottle each by making a qualifying booking from the new brochure before 18 July, while a third will be won by an agent who posts the most creative picture featuring the brochure on one of Travel 2’s social media channels before 18 July 2018.
