Travel Counsellors develops Dream-Maker app

Travel Counsellors has launched a new online campaign around a new Dream-Maker application on Facebook.
The campaign focuses around its Facebook users’ dream holidays and will lead one follower winning £10,000 towards their own. Users will be able to upload their own dream holiday with images, with other users voting on which they think should receive the prize.
The campaign launch follows a survey by the company which found that 70% of people have not yet travelled to their dream destination.
“We wanted a campaign to really capture and celebrate the ‘feel good factor’ of both making dreams come true for customers and realising our Travel Counsellors’ own dreams by empowering them to be in control of their own destinies,” said Steve Byrne, managing director of Travel Counsellors on the campaign. “We are referring to our agents as ‘dream-makers’ as they are dedicated to taking care of their customers’ needs down to the last detail”.
In addition to the competition, the site also includes travel inspiration and how the company’s own staff have created or seen dreams been realised.
“We hope this campaign will enable people to focus on what really matters to them, and what their dreams are for the future,” added Byrne.
