Travelguru has announced its tie-up with international hotel chain Marriott International Inc.
The business relationship between Marriott and Travelguru includes featuring all Marriott hotels in India and soon all over the world on Travelguru’s point of sales which include Yatra.com and key affiliates like Goibibo, Thomas Cook, FCM and Kuoni.
Commenting on the association, Basant Tahiliani, general manager for partner marketing and e-commerce at Travelguru said, “This partnership re-affirms the trust and belief of hospitality industry in Travelguru, making us one of the most preferred OTAs among hoteliers and customers alike. Hoteliers are realizing the importance of game-changing innovations and uncomplicated solutions offered and provided by Travelguru.”
Alexander Pyhan, senior director for global e-commerce channels APAC & EMEA at Marriott International said, “We have been looking to further Marriott’s online reach in India and the business relationship with Travelguru will help Marriott to expand its online presence in India.”
Currently, Marriott operates 21 properties in India with an additional pipeline of 46 hotels and expects to reach its stated goal of 100 open and signed hotels in India in the next few years.
