This year’s edition of the annual TRAVELTech event in Sydney will be extended to two days.
Taking place from 12-13 September 2013, the event will feature a range of discussions on key topics in the travel technology sector. Day one will include discussions about travel technology, aimed at those working in the industry’s IT sector, while the second day will focus on online travel, e-commerce, distribution, digital marketing, mobile, social media, web trends and other issues.
Conference director Martin Kelly said he want to put “the tech back into TRAVELtech”.
“The idea is to reboot TRAVELtech and broaden its appeal without losing program focus, which we’ll be able to do by having two distinct days,” Kelly said.
Speakers at this year’s event will include Mark Mison, chief information officer at Sabre Pacific, Ross Veitch, founder & CEO of Wego.com, Mike Rogers, chief technical officer at SiteMinder and Liz Ward, CEO of the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse.
