TripAdvisor adds rail fares to flight meta-search

TripAdvisor has announced the launch of rail itineraries into its flight search engine, TripAdvisor Flights. The site will now display rail itineraries alongside flight choices for relevant routes through its meta-search through a partnership with RailEasy and Deutsche Bahn. Travellers can filter the search results according to their travel needs and click to complete the booking on the air or rail website of their choice. Rail itineraries for continental Europe are available starting today through the TripAdvisor Flights meta-search engines in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany and Spain, with itineraries in additional countries to launch on future dates.
