TTM+ witnesses a surge of boutique hotel participants

The Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) has witnessed keen attendance from total of 49 first time participants.
These include sectors such as boutique hotels, health and wellness specialists, ecotourism operators and wedding management companies.
The event is scheduled to take place from 3-5 June 2015 in Bangkok. The objective of the event is to help small and medium-sized enterprises get the right marketing exposure in a competitive global environment.
The event in its 14th year will be held at the exhibition centre hall. Recent statistics show that as of 3 March 2015, a total of 258 registered exhibitors included 202 hotels and resorts, 14 travel agents and tour operators, nine companies from the GMS countries, seven ecotourism operators, seven wedding and honeymoon specialist companies, seven entertainment venues, four health and wellness companies, three other travel services, two transportation companies, one association, one NTO, and one experience Thainess niche-market company.
Of the 49 first-time exhibitors, 36 are small- and medium-sized Thai hotels located nationwide, both independent operators and chain-affiliated. Three are health and wellness specialists, three ecotourism operators, and two wedding and honeymoon management companies.
The event so far has received registrations from 304 buyers across 53 countries. India has the largest contingent (45) followed by United Kingdom (26), USA (21), and Australia (17). A group of smaller but quality buyers have also been invited from emerging markets such as, Bahrain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, Lebanon, Panama, Poland, Romania and Ukraine. Of these 154 are repeat and 150 are first-time buyers.
