Tune Hotels expands in Manila
Tune Hotels will expand its portfolio of budget hotels in the Philippines with the opening of a new property in Manila.
Opening on 17 July, the Tune Hotel Makati will feature 213 rooms – 148 doubles, 63 twins and two more people with disabled access.
It will become Tune’s fourth hotel in the Philippines, following recent openings in Manila, Cebu and Angeles. The new hotel also boosts Tune’s total portfolio to 12 hotels across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and the UK.
“When we opened the Tune Hotels in Angeles City, Cebu City and Ermita, many asked about Makati City. That question is now answered with the pre-opening sales of the Tune Hotel Makati. We’ve always been vocal about the Philippines as being an outstanding tourist destination that has yet to receive its due attention and part of what we aim to do is bring the due attention! Makati is a natural element of the Tune roadmap of national expansion in the Philippines and our aspirations involve being able to cater to the needs of not only leisure but business travelers both from within and inbound to the country,” said Tune’s CEO, Mark Lankester.
