Tune Hotels has opened its sixth property in the Philippines.
The 140-room Tune Hotel Quezon City continues the brand’s roll-out in the country, following previous openings in Angeles City, Cebu, Makati, Ermita and Cagayan De Oro.
“We have always had a firm commitment to the Philippines in terms of our overall investment as we have always had a firm belief in the country’s travel sector and the ability of our entire Philippines team to deliver on our service and standard obligations,” said Tim Hansing, CEO of Red Planet Hotels, Tune’s franchisee in the Philippines.
“It has been testament to the success of our first five hotels in the country that we stand here today as the largest international hotel owner and operator in the Philippines and that success has further fuelled our desire to have even more hotels here, with four more opening in the coming months.”
The new Tune Hotel Quezon City offers 140 twin and double rooms. As with all Tune properties, rates will be on a room-only basis, with guests charged for optional extras, such as Wi-Fi, towels, air-conditioning and cable TV.
Following this opening, Red Planet plans to launch a further four Tune Hotels in the Philippines. Properties will open in Davao and Ortigas in November 2013, Aseana City in April 2014 and Ayala Avenue in May 2014. This will take Tune’s total Philippine portfolio to 10 hotels and 1,724 rooms.
