Turkish Airlines recently opened its office in Doha. The new opening was driven by growing demand and increasing passenger traffic. Recent statistics stated that the airline witnessed a 55% growth in passenger traffic from the city in the first nine months of 2013 as compared to 2012.

The airline has 10 weekly flights, connecting travellers from the city to 239 destinations globally, across 104 countries. The carrier also recorded an overall 24.1% increase in passengers in the first nine months of this year. The airline’s record growth sustained across Qatar and the Middle East is in line with growing number of tourists travelling from Qatar to Turkey, with an increase of 32.1% as recorded by tourism officials.

The new sales office is located in Crown Plaza Building E and was officially opened in the presence of HE Ahmet Demirok, ambassador of Turkey to Qatar.
