Turkish Airlines expands in Central Asia
Turkish Airlines has announced plans to expand its services to Central Asia with the launch of flights to two new cities; the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar and Osh in Kyrgyzstan.
Commencing on 2 July, the new Istanbul-Ulaanbaatar service will operate three times a week, via the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek. Flights will depart Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, returning from the Mongolian capital a day later.
Then from 18 July, Turkish will fly three times a week to Osh, the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan. Flights will depart Istanbul every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, returning the following day.
