Recent statistics state that the GCC region contributes up to five percent of Turkey’s tourism revenue.
The country continues to see strong year-on-year growth in GCC visitors, according to Turkish Consulate General Cultural and Information Office.
Riding on this growth, Turkish Airlines is offering special fares to Istanbul from UAE. These special fares are valid between 1 November 2015 and 31 March 2016. The offer will encourage tourists to travel for business or leisure.
Adem Ceylan, vice president, sales, Middle East and Cyprus, Turkish Airlines, said: “This timely campaign allows travellers from the region to see a whole new side of Istanbul.”
Istanbul is becoming an increasingly popular travel destination for GCC travelers, who are known to like short-medium haul destinations for holidays throughout the year.
