Turkish Airlines strengthen GCC visitor traffic

Turkish Airlines is promoting the traditions and spiritual experience of Ramadan with its new ‘Ramadan in Istanbul’ campaign.
Ziya Taşkent, senior vice president marketing and sales of Turkish Airlines said: “We are continuing to enhance passenger satisfaction. Organising the ‘Ramadan in Istanbul’ celebrations gives added reasons for the visitors from the Middle East to visit Turkey.”
The new campaign highlights the country as a must-visit and inspiring destination to visit during the Holy Month, with its historic traditions and monuments.
The airline witnessed increased passenger numbers from the Gulf region which was highest from Saudi Arabia during June this year. This was followed by UAE, Kuwait and Qatar. The airline is further building on the appeal of Turkey to GCC tourists as a popular year-round destination with the new campaign.
