Turkish Airlines to launch flights to Zanzibar in December

Turkish Airlines will introduce flights to Zanzibar in December, boosting its Africa network to 50 destinations in 31 countries.
This positions the carrier as one of the continent’s leading airlines.
Zanzibar, a prominent tourism destination, will be Turkish Airlines’ 3rd gateway in Tanzania, with existing services to Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro already in operation.
The three times weekly service to Zanzibar will start from 13 December, with flights departing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Introductory round-trip fares are available from Istanbul to Zanzibar starting at US$636.
Miles&Smiles members will be able to earn 25% extra status miles on trips to the destination.
