Absolute Hotel Services has announced plans to add its second upscale U Hotels & Resorts property in Bangkok.
Set to open in early 2014, U Sukhumvit Bangkok will be located on Sukhumvit Soi 15, in the centre of the Thai capital. The 94 rooms will range from 30–40m² and all come equipped with free Wi-Fi, while hotel facilities will include a themed restaurant, rooftop swimming pool, fitness centre, library and business centre.
The contemporary property will be designed by Denmark-based Evaristti Studios.
“We are very excited to work with the owners and Marco Evaristti in developing an authentic and original property in… the dynamic Sukhumvit area,” said Jonathan Wigley, CEO of Absolute Hotel Services. “We are delighted with the Thailand expansion of the brand which now includes Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Kanchanaburi with properties shortly to be announced in Hua Hin and Pattaya.”
