Universal Parks & Resorts and Loews Hotels & Resorts have announced they will open a new hotel on-site in 2014.

The Cabana Bay Beach Resort will have 900 family suites sleeping up to six people and 900 guest rooms with a driving holiday theme throughout.

It wilbe built on a site within the Universal Orlando Resort and next to Islands of Adventure with a vintage look, bold designs and “touches of neon”.

It will provide early park admission and other privileges. “The Cabana Bay Beach Resort furthers our goal of operating special and distinct properties in important markets,” said Paul Whetsell, CEO of Loews.
