Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection will launch a new luxury vessel in India next year.
Set to commence operations in January 2016, the Ganges Voyager II will offer a series of river cruises on the Ganges, including Uniworld’s newest itinerary, the 13-day “India’s Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges” tour, which features a seven-night cruise and five nights in New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
Ganges Voyager II will be a 56-passenger, all-suite river cruise ship. All suites come fitted with French balconies and floor-to-ceiling glass doors, plus en suite bathrooms and flat-screen televisions. The largest unit, the Maharaja Suite, covers 37m2.
Onboard facilities include an observation deck, the Governor’s Lounge, a spa, fitness centre and restaurant.
“We are extremely proud of our new all-suite ship and excited about the debut of our India product,” said Guy Young, president of Uniworld. “Our commitment to expanding our product offerings ensures we can provide our guests with a diverse global portfolio highlighting the most spectacular aspects of each destination, including both world-class treasures and local hidden gems.”
US-based Uniworld offers a series of all-inclusive river cruise itineraries in Europe, China, India, Southeast Asia and Egypt, covering a total of 22 rivers.
