Continuing its global expansion programme, Vienna House has announced a lease agreement with Argo Capital to open a new Vienna House Easy hotel in Raunheim, near Frankfurt International Airport.
Following its recent announcement of opening a new hotel in the old town of Leipzig, Austria’s largest hotel chain has announced another hotel project, scheduled to begin construction in late 2019 with a grand opening set for 2020.
The new hotel project further consolidates the brand’s presence in the European market. It will offer 200 rooms in three categories, including 20 city apartments.
“Vienna House offers us a convincing concept for our investment in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region,” said Harald Müller, shareholder of Argo Capital Partners S.a.r.l. “We are really looking forward to the personal and successful partnership.”
The up and coming Vienna House Easy Airport Frankfurt has a specific goal in mind – to create an ease of experience for its guests. By offering them fast access to rooms, through online check-ins and check-outs, guests won’t be needing to pass through reception. Its doors can be opened with the use of smartphones, a feature that will be attractive to forward-thinking guests.
“This is a place where mobility and a modern hotel concept go well together”
“Raunheim is ideal for the Vienna House Easy line. This is a place where mobility and a modern hotel concept go well together,” said Rupert Simoner, CEO of Vienna House. “In Argo Capital, we have found the right partner for us who stands behind our concept and with whom we can imagine additional developments in the future.”
As we’ve also seen in the company’s property in Leipzig, the hotel rooms will offer a combination of functionality and a cool design. In addition, the city apartments will be a home base for long-stay guests, complete with kitchenettes, eating areas, smart TVs and separate sleeping areas.
The new Vienna House Easy Airport Frankfurt will also cater to MICE travellers. In the hotel, there will be ten meeting rooms that can be tailored to suit a range of business needs from conferences and presentations to training sessions or special-themed events.
Adding a few special features, there’s a proposed carsharing scheme, electric vehicle charging stations, airport shuttles and free bicycle rental facilities.
Vienna House Easy Airport Frankfurt is the second Vienna House project in the region and will be the 19th Vienna House Easy in Europe.
