Vietjet continues to expand its international network with the launch of three new routes to two countries: Taiwan and South Korea.

The first new route will commence on 30 October 2016, operating daily between Hanoi and Taipei. The route will offer an afternoon departure time (1405) from Vietnam’s capital and evening (1910) return flights.

Then on 12 December 2016, the low-cost carrier will further expand its operations in Taiwan with the launch of flights linking Ho Chi Minh City with Kaohsiung. Five weekly flights will operate every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, with an early morning (0210) outbound service and a more comfortable 0815 return leg.

Finally on 16 December 2016, Vietjet’s Korean network will be boosted with the launch of direct flights between Hanoi and Busan. This service will run every day except Thursday, with early morning (0100) departures from Hanoi and an 0800 return flight from the Korean port city.

Taiwan and South Korea are among the largest international tourism source markets for Vietnam, contributing a combined 1.5 million visitors to the country in the first nine months of 2016.
