Authorities in South Korea and Vietnam have agreed new terms of entry for Vietnamese tourists. Vietnamese nationals travelling directly from Ho Chi Min City to Jeju Island will no longer have to pay visa fees following a bilateral agreement reached on Monday. According to national news sources, two chartered flights per week currently operate between the two destinations on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The chartered flights, which started over the weekend, are already fully booked until December and local authorities are in talks for further collaboration as they seek to raise tourism exchange between the two destinations.
