wasl Hospitality will soon introduce the first Mandarin Oriental hotel in Dubai, currently under development on the Jumeirah Beach Road in 2017.

“Mandarin Oriental is the latest project in our portfolio that will set new standards for elegance for the hospitality sector in Dubai,” said Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim, CEO of wasl Asset Management Group.

Once completed, Mandarin Oriental will boast 260 premium rooms and suites, including eight exclusive over-the-water villas. The hotel will also house seven restaurants, including a signature pier-top dining restaurant with dedicated docking facilities for guests. Further, a dedicated beach club on Jumeirah Beach will provide an array of water sports activities.

“It is vital that the hospitality market in Dubai grows so that it can accommodate the anticipated influx of visitors in the build-up to Expo 2020. wasl is a major player in the city’s hotel industry and launch of the Mandarin Oriental will add to its growing portfolio of hospitality projects, which now stands at 11 hotels offering over 3,300 rooms and suites,” said Al Qassim.

wasl Hospitality currently has four other hotels under construction, with plans to build 15 more up until 2020. Once all projects have been completed, the organisation’s total complement of rooms will reach almost 6,000.
