WHTS15 looks to attract over 6,000 participants

Abu Dhabi is fast gearing up to welcome the World Halal Travel Summit & Exhibition (WHTS15).
The event is scheduled to take place from 19 – 21 October 2015 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC).
As per statistics, the event will attract government officials and professionals developing, and investing in global Halal tourism. Over 6,000 invited participants, including travel and tourism professionals and agencies, hospitality groups and hoteliers, tour operators, developers, destinations and key industry decision makers from around the globe are scheduled to attend, in addition to over 200 international exhibitors and sponsors.
Hosam Moustafa, event manager of WHTS15: “Halal tourism is growing at six percent per annum, faster than any other travel sector. Subsequently, the global Halal travel market is projected to be worth US$$ 238 billion by 2019. Keeping these growth factors in mind, response from exhibitors and tourism professionals has been overwhelmingly positive and extremely encouraging.”
The three-day summit will also include seminars and panel discussions highlighting key issues facing Halal tourism.
