Worldhotels has unveiled its new ‘World Luxury’ collection, which gathers some of the best hotels in its portfolio into a separate tier.

Billed as a “curated collection of distinctive hotels”, World Luxury initially comprises five properties: Amatara Resort & Wellness in Phuket, Amilla Fushi in the Maldives, Sunset Marquis Hotel in Los Angeles, The White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou, and Upper House in Gothenburg, Sweden.

And any new hotels wanting to join the collection will have to pass stringent tests; Worldhotels has appointed LRA by Deloitte to conduct “in-depth emotional level intelligence audits” for candidate hotels.

“Catering to today’s modern travellers and their discerning expectations, all World Luxury hotels promise authentic travel experiences and lasting memories like no other. For those who are constantly seeking the fresh, the creative, and the most iconic experiences, World Luxury hotels will provide the canvas for the most precious stories ever written – our guest’s very own,” Worldhotels said in a statement.

In total, Worldhotels now offers approximately 450 hotels in 65 countries worldwide.
