World Travel Market Latin America has made its mark in the region’s travel industry with 25% of floor already rebooked for 2015.

Last week’s event was the second edition to be held in Sao Paulo and 24 exhibitors have already rebooked including various tourism boards and hotel brands. Hilton Worldwide has doubled its space next year, while Atout France, Accor and Air France have also upped stand space.

Aside from the exhibitors the event has also been boosted by the hosted buyers programme and three speed networking events.

“I have had really strong feedback from all participants telling me what a great success the second event has been, with many exhibitors looking for greater visibility and more exhibition space,” Lawrence Reinisch, Reed Travel Exhibitions director WTM Latin America. “Exhibitors have been extremely happy with the numbers and quality of buyers, visitors and decision makers that they have seen and the increase in the number of business discussions and negotiations that have been had on the exhibition floor.”
