Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the franchise agreement for Wyndham Grand Bangalore Yelahanka.

The property is set to open in 2020. The hotel will feature 180 rooms including 30 suites, four restaurants and a wide range of amenities including an outdoor pool and spa. The property will additionally include two conference and banquet halls catering to large-scale social engagements and business events.

The Wyndham Grand Bangalore Yelahanka will form a key component in Sammy’s Grand Palace, the 75-acre residential project in Bangalore. The project is being developed by Bengaluru-based Sammy’s Dreamland Co. Private Limited.

Duane Elledge, executive vice president and managing director of Wyndham Hotel Group in Asia Pacific said, “We are honored to work with Sammy’s Dreamland Co. Private Limited to bring another upscale Wyndham Grand property in India. This addition will further strengthen our commitment to develop properties in top travel markets around the world that provide the utmost in service and style.”

This 180-room hotel is a part of the Group’s expansion plan in India to develop nearly 70 hotels and increase the inventory to 8,000 rooms within the next five years. Wyndham currently operates 17 properties in India with a total room inventory of 1,800 under the Ramada, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Dream and Days Inn brands.
