“China has proved to be an essential growth market for us for some time now. A strong emerging market, China boasts a wealth of development opportunities and a thriving tourism scene for both business and leisure,” said Frank Trampert, Wyndham’s Managing Director for Asia Pacific. “We are thrilled to announce the signing of four new managed properties and remain committed to strengthening Wyndham Hotel Group’s global presence in sought-after destinations.”

The first of the four hotels to open will be the Wyndham Hangzhou Binjiang. Opening in 2014, the Hangzhou property will feature 250 rooms, two restaurants, a swimming pool, spa, eight meeting rooms and a ballroom.

2015 will then see the opening of three new Wyndham hotels. The 210-room Wyndham Grand Sanya Haitang Bay will be a beachfront resort in Hainan Island, offering a range of luxury villas, while the 270-room Wyndham Anhui Huangshan will offer a significant range of leisure facilities close to the Huangshan Golf Course. Finally the 290-room Wyndham Xuzhou Tongshan will form part of new Tongshan district, which has been earmarked as a new major urban centre close to Xuzhou, in eastern China’s Jiangsu province. The hotel will include an indoor swimming pool, spa and 14 meeting rooms.

Wyndham Hotel Group is currently the largest international hotel group operating in China, with 470 operational hotels.
