X2, the boutique hotel brand based in Thailand, has unveiled a new yachting venture in Pattaya.

The new X2 Yachting will provide daytime and overnight cruises using its 53-foot (16m) luxury motor cruiser, “Shiraz”. The boat was recently renovated and now features air-conditioned cabins, seating for up to 20 people and large undercover outdoor areas.

“We saw a need to quality-luxury yachting experience in the gulf that is both affordable and genuine. There are many wonderful islands and bays within a short distance from Pattaya, almost unknown to most Thais,” said Anthony McDonald, CEO & founder of the X2 Lifestyle Group.

“The boat was specifically redesigned to cater to comfort, stability and with lots of sun cover. It allows all guests to experience the true luxury of boating.”

The boat will be primarily used for day cruises to nearby islands, with half-day options starting from THB45,000 (US$1,270). Full-day and overnight cruises to Koh Samet and Koh Kood are also offered for groups of up to six people.

This marks X2’s second venture in the cruise sector, following the launch of X2 River Cruises on Bangkok’s Chao Praya River.

“We are truly excited that the X2 brand is now becoming known as a luxury lifestyle travel brand, and not just famous for our design hotels and resorts,” said McDonald.
