Thomson Cruises has enlisted the help of Jamaican Olympic medallist Yohan Blake and the 3RUN freerunners to promote its new cruises from Montego Bay.
The new Dream Runners film shows the athlete running with the stunt professionals at a Kingston training ground then the freerunners flip and climb on Dunn’s River Falls; market stalls in Ochos Rios; the Negril cliffs and scaling Thomson Dream’s slides.
“We are very excited to team up with 3RUN for the second time to showcase our stunning new home port of Jamaica. Last year, we worked with them to create a stunt style movie scene to unveil the Platinum upgrade on the Thomson Dream and this year our new action packed film, highlights the many stunning attractions our guests can visit on the island,” said Helen Caron, managing director of Thomson Cruises.
Thomson Dream will sail from Montego Bay from December 2014 to ports in Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Honduras, Belize and Mexico.
John Lynch, director of tourism at the Jamaica Tourist Board said: “We’re excited to be welcoming Thomson Dream to Jamaica later this year and were delighted to get involved in the film. Dream Runners is a very different way of showcasing our beautiful Jamaican scenery, using freerunners and their incredible stunts over a selection of our most iconic landmarks.”
