YTL Hotels has officially launched the first property under its new luxury brand, Kasara.
The Kasara Niseko Village Townhouse is located in YTL’s Niseko Village complex, on the Japanese island of Hokkaido.
The first phase of the property, which opened its month, consists of eight two-storey ski-in, ski-out townhouses, designed in a traditional Japanese style. Each can accommodate up to six adults in three bedrooms, and also feature kitchens, tatami-floored dining areas and storage for ski equipment.
Guests will be offered a range of services including a concierge to assist with activities and restaurant reservations, a driver, ski and snowboard fittings, an induction with a ski instructor and complimentary onsen use. They will also be able to use the facilities at the neighbouring Hilton Niseko Village and Green Leaf Niseko Village.
“The new developments at Niseko Village truly redefine the luxury Asian alpine experience,” said Mark Yeoh, executive director of YTL Hotels. “These are just the first steps of our long term plan which will develop our already award-winning Niseko Village into the most sought-after mountain resort in Asia.”
Following the launch of the Niseko property, YTL plans to bring the Kasara brand to locations in Thailand and Malaysia, including a resort in Koh Samui.
