RAK gets its first Waldorf Astoria

The Waldorf Astoria, Ras Al Khaimah is set to commence operations during the first quarter of 2013. It will be the first of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in the UAE and part of Al Hamra Village.
The Waldorf Astoria will boast 349 rooms, access to a private beach, three outdoor swimming pools and a choice of eight restaurants and lounges.
The Waldorf Astoria, Ras Al Khaimah is being developed by Al Hamra Group and will be managed by Hilton Worldwide. Al Hamra Village, the master planned development, has 1,000 villas and townhouses, 2,500 residential apartments, two hotels, three resorts, an 18 hole golf course, clubhouse, a marina and a shopping mall all within a safe and secure community.
