Air Arabia launches direct service to Salalah

Air Arabia recently announced the launch of its new service to Salalah, Oman starting June 28th, 2012. The new route will become airline’s second destination in the Sultanate. The new destination will be serviced with two flights on Thursdays and Saturdays.
“With our new twice weekly service, we aim to develop tourism traffic between Salalah, the UAE and the wider region,” said Adel Ali, group chief executive officer, Air Arabia. “This new service is in-time for the summer get-a ways.”
A key forthcoming highlight in the city of Salalah is the ‘Salalah Tourism Festival’ which will take place from July 15th – Aug 31st every year. The festival witnesses tourists from across the world as well as the destination serves as a major attraction for scuba diving and bird watching.
