British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Hilton and Heathrow Airport have appeared in the top 20 business and consumer Superbrands list this year.
British Airways came second in the Business Superbrands list behind only Apple, while the airline made fourth place in the consumer list after Rolex, Apple and Microsoft.
The lists, independently put together by The Centre for Brand Analysis, saw Virgin Atlantic come fifth in the consumer list with Hilton and Heathrow Airport seventh and eighth in the B2B ranking.
“To be recognised by the industry and customers is a real honour,” said Abigail Comber, head of marketing at BA. “We are very proud of the success we achieved as official airline of the London 2012 Games, and our provoking Home Advantage campaign, which really resonated with the public.”
