Hilton’s DoubleTree brand has made its debut in Poland as part of a renovation into the Lodz Film Studio.
The newly-built hotel will pay homage to Polish cinema throughout using film themes and references, including a tribute to Roman Polanski.
“Hilton Worldwide has a long history of association with the film industry and DoubleTree by Hilton Lodz builds on this heritage in an important European market. Over the last six years, we have expanded our Polish portfolio with openings in some of the country’s most visited cities including Gdansk, Krakow and Warsaw and our new hotel in Lodz marks a superb debut for DoubleTree by Hilton,” said Hilton Worldwide’s EMEA president Simon Vincent.
The hotel has 200 rooms including a 105 square-meter presidential suite with views over Poniatowski Park. Facilities include a concert and meeting hall, spa, cinema room and restaurant.
