The two bodies have signed an agreement

The Pacific Asia Travel Association and the German International Cooperation Agency have signed an agreement to develop a more sustainable inbound sector.

The initiative will look to build an information exchange platform which will educate businesses on how to use sustainable means to improve bottom lines.

Martin Craigs, CEO, PATA, said: “This project will make it easier for tourism enterprises to develop and implement sustainable practices, to reduce their eco footprint, increase positive socio-economic impacts and contribute to the preservation and culture in Asia-Pacific.”
