Jennifer Hudson and Olivia Newton-John are amongst the stars signed up to perform on Carnival Cruise Line’s ships this year as part of a new concert series.
Forty-nine paid-for onboard performances have been announced in the Carnival LIVE Concert Series, with LeAnn Rimes, and Lady Antebellum also in the line-up.
Each performance will take place while a ship is in port and will commence in April at Cozumel, Nassau and Catalina Island.
Tickets will cost between US$20 and US$40 as well as a limited number of VIP tickets for up to US£150.
“Onboard entertainment is an important part of the overall guest experience when cruising,” said Mark Tamis, senior vice president of guest operations for Carnival Cruise Lines. “With the Carnival LIVE Concert Series, our guests will enjoy an exclusive performance with one of their favorite artists for an extraordinary value. Combined with our enhanced house bands fleetwide, this is just another example of the many ways we are constantly looking to create even more fun and memorable moments for our guests.”
In addition to the Carnival LIVE series, the cruise line is updating its house bands with more interaction, themes and variety.
