Inderneel Singh is now GM of the May Fair Hotel

Hilary Cross has been named as the general manager of the new Dorsett Shepherds Bush. Cross will be responsible for pre-opening activities ahead of its launch in May and was most recently general manager for K West Hotel & Spa, London.

Inderneel Singh has been appointed general manager of the May Fair Hotel. Singh was previously corporate development manager for the Edwardian Group London which the hotel is part of. He is a qualified chartered accountant and recently managed the planning of a new Leicester Square site. 

Faycal Bennani has joined Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo as its new general manager. Bennani brings 10 years of hospitality experience to the role and joins from being general manager of the Hampton by Hilton Derby Centre. He has also had spells with Holiday Inn and ibis.

David Hughes has been named at the managing director of Signature Living, the company converting the former Titanic HQ into a hotel. Hughes will be responsible for running the firm and joins with experience from Whitbread, IHG and Hilton.

Tan Choon Kwang has been named as the new chief operating officer of Meritus Hotels & Resorts. A seasoned hotelier, Tan has more than 30 years of expertise in Singapore, France, Japan, Australia, UK and USA, including spells with Swissotel, Raffles and Starwood Hotels.

Julian Shaw has joined the Bafta 195 Piccadilly venue as a director. Shaw joined the venue this week from the Gorgeous Group where she led planning, product development and service delivery for hotel and restaurant clients.

Mauro Governato has been named general manager at the Hotel de Russie in Rome. Governato joins the Rocco Forte hotel from Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon where he was general manager. He has also held roles with One&Only in Mauritius and the Maldives.
