Hilton Worldwide has opened a new DoubleTree resort on the Chinese island of Hainan.

The DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hainan Qixianling Hot Spring is set in the Qixianling Hot Spring National Rainforest Park, 90km from Sanya Phoenix International Airport.

The upscale property offers 254 rooms and suites, all with 42-inch LCD TVs and private balconies overlooking the rainforest gardens.

Facilities include five food and beverage outlets, a spa, 24-hour fitness centre, two outdoor swimming pools and the largest hot spring on the island. There is also more than 600m² of meeting and event space, and Wi-Fi is free-of-charge throughout the resort.

“We look forward to welcoming domestic and international travellers to the lush and beautiful vacation area served by DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hainan Qixianling Hot Spring,” said John Greenleaf, global head of DoubleTree by Hilton.

“By bringing an upscale, full-service hotel to this idyllic destination, DoubleTree by Hilton continues our ongoing expansion throughout China.”
